Chance To Win A 2008 BMW 1 Series

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
A free insurance quote from a Farmers agent, any of its Affiliates or the purchase of a BMW from Long Beach BMW does not improve an entrant's chances of winning this Sweepstakes.

This Chance to Win a 2009 BMW ("Sweepstakes"), and entrant's participation in it, is void where prohibited by law. Farmers Group, Inc. is the Sponsor ("Sponsor" or "Farmers") of this Sweepstakes. Long Beach BMW is the donor of the donated prize, which is a 2009 BMW automobile ("Prize"). This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Entrant's submission of an entry in this Sweepstakes constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules.

2. Eligibility:
Entrants must: A) be at least 21 years old and be a legal resident of California, B) have a permanent residence in Southern California (in zip codes 90000-93599) at the address listed on the entry form within (3) months prior to the start of the Sweepstakes; C) complete the entire Sweepstakes entry form (on-line, in person at a participating Farmers agency or at the Long Beach BMW dealership in Signal Hill, California, prior to the scheduled game day); and D) be present to claim the Prize at the Angel City Classic 2008 Football Game on the scheduled game day. A random drawing of all Sweepstakes entry forms received will be made for one (1) winner of the Prize ("Prize Winner" or "Winner").

By submitting a Sweepstakes entry form, each entrant: (1) agrees to abide by these Official Rules; (2),understands and agrees that the Sweepstakes is being conducted in accordance with the laws of the State of California;, and (3) agrees that all disputes relating to this Sweepstakes will be decided by the Sponsor; and (4) all decisions of the Sponsor will be final and cannot be contested. The following persons are ineligible to enter the Sweepstakes or win the Prize: Current or former employees, agents, and/or district managers of Farmers Group, Inc., their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, spouse, partners), and/or members of their households (whether related or not), Affiliates of Farmers Group, Inc. and current and/or former employees, their immediate family members and/or members of their households, agents, successors or assigns of Long Beach BMW and/or Black Educational Events. For the purposes of these Rules, "Affiliates" means and shall include any existing or future person that directly or indirectly, through one or more intermediaries, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control or management with Farmers Group, Inc.

3. Entry:
Only one Sweepstakes entry form per person will be accepted. Incomplete Sweepstakes entry forms may be invalidated. Individuals may enter this Sweepstakes by completing the Sweepstakes entry form on-line at www.farmersevents.com/areyoutheone, in person at a participating Farmers agency, or in person at Long Beach BMW, 2998 Cherry Ave., Signal Hill, California, 90639. Farmers assumes no liability or responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, lack of transmission, deletion, defect, delay in operation, communications line failure, theft, destruction, or failure in communications for any Sweepstakes entry form submitted on-line.

If any part of these Official Rules are held invalid or unenforceable, that portion shall be construed in a manner consistent with applicable law to reflect, as nearly as possible, the original intentions of the Sponsor, and the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.

4. Prize & Conditions:
The Prize is a 2009 BMW automobile donated from Long Beach BMW with a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price of $31,000.00 (thirty one thousand dollars), excluding federal, state and local taxes, license fees, title fees, registration fees, dealership fees, transfer fees, document fees, and any other expenses related to the acceptance and use of the Prize. The Prize displayed at the 2008 Angel City Classic Football Game may not represent the Prize that will be awarded to the Winner due to model changes, availability or other circumstances. Farmers does not make, nor in any manner is responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Prize including but not limited to is quality, fitness for purpose or mechanical condition.

The Prize Winner must travel to Long Beach BMW located at 2998 Cherry Avenue, Signal Hill, California 90755, at the Winner's cost, to collect or redeem the Prize within sixty (60) days of the drawing of the Sweepstakes. The Prize will be forfeited by the Winner if it is not claimed within ninety (90) days from the drawing of the Sweepstakes.

The Prize Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, license fees, title fees, registration fees, dealership charges, transfer fees, document fees, and any other expenses related to the acceptance and use of the Prize. The Prize Winner understands and acknowledges that automobile insurance must be verified prior to taking delivery and possession of the Prize or may be purchased through a participating Farmers agent at delivery.

The Prize will be delivered to the Winner with standard equipment. The Winner is responsible for any additional options or upgrades to the Prize. Any desired options or upgrades are at the sole expense to the Winner. The color of the Prize, package options and factory added options are all subject to availability.

This Prize cannot be substituted, assigned, exchanged, or transferred by the Winner. Farmers and Long BMW both reserve the right to disqualify entrants who fail to follow these Official Rules or who make any misrepresentations relative to this Sweepstakes and redemption of this Prize.

No cash substitutions or equivalents of this Prize are allowed.

By participating in this Sweepstakes, the entrant hereby releases Sponsor from any and all claims, damages or liabilities arising from or relating to the entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes. By acceptance of the Prize, the Winner agrees to release Sponsor from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses of any kind to person or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Sweepstakes, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the Prize, or any typographical or other error in the Official Rules or the offering and announcement of Prize.

Under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to any claim, punitive incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorney's fees, other than entrant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes). Furthermore, entrant agrees that any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes and the Prize awarded, shall be resolved solely by Farmers, shall be final and binding, and without resort to any form of class action.

The Prize Winner shall be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a liability release, a publicity release, and other documents including but not limited to tax documents, as applicable, except where prohibited by law.

The Winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes on the value of the Prize and will be issued an IRS 1099-MISC tax form for the retail value of the Prize. The Winner understands and acknowledges this tax responsibility.

5. Sweepstakes Duration & Drawing Details:
All Sweepstakes entries must be received by the entry deadline of 12:00 p.m. (noon) Pacific Standard Time on September 26, 2008. Sponsor's computer is the official clock for purposes of Sweepstakes entry. Proof of delivery or receipt of the Sweepstakes entry form will not be deemed by Sponsor as proof of entry into this Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) Sweepstakes entry form per person/per e-mail address for this Sweepstakes. If a participant submits more than one (1) entry form to this Sweepstakes, only his/her first Sweepstakes entry form will be entered. Any subsequent Sweepstakes entry form will be void. No Sweepstakes entries by any groups or organizations will be permitted.

All Sweepstakes entry forms will be combined to create an entry pool from which one (1) valid Winner will be chosen by random drawing. The odds of being selected as the one (1) winning entry drawn at random depends on the total number of valid Sweepstakes entry forms received.

During either the 3rd or 4th quarter of the Angel City Classic 2008 Football Game, the name of the Winner will be verbally announced and will be visually displayed at the Game, and the Winner will have an allotted time period to come to the specified location at the Game to formally be announced as the Winner of the Prize. If the first announced Winner fails to appear at the specified location within the allotted time period, that person will be disqualified, and the Sweepstakes will proceed with another name being drawn from the remaining pool of Sweepstakes entry forms. The preceding steps will continue until a Winner has successfully identified himself/herself to the designated location within the specified allotted time period or when the Angel City Classic 2008 Football Game officially ends, whichever comes first.

In the event that none of the Winners from the random drawing appear at the specified location within the allotted time period and the Angel City Classic 2008 Football Game officially ends, the Prize will not be awarded.

If for any reason the computer portion of the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or if the Angel City Classic 2008 Football Game is cancelled or rescheduled, or if there are technical failures or any other causes which affect the administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Farmers reserves the right at its sole discretion, to terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. As required by law, Sponsor will disclose the name of the Winner to the public so interested parties can verity that the Prize has been awarded.

6. Publicity: It is a condition of entry to the Sweepstakes that Farmers has the right to publicize the Winner of the Prize for any promotion or matter related to the Sweepstakes. By accepting the Prize, the Winner consents fully and explicitly to the use of his/her name, as well as the use of his/her picture. The Winner may be required by Farmers to participate in a photo session. The Winner acknowledges and agrees that Farmers has the right to use his/her name and such publicity photos in any medium (including, but not limited to, television and the Internet), and in any reasonable matter Farmers deems fit. The Winner agrees to make himself/herself available for publicity purposes without charge.

7. Limitation of Liability, Indemnity & Disclaimer:
Sponsor is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, lack of transmission, deletion, defect, delay in operation, communications line failure, theft, destruction, or failure in communications for any Sweepstakes entry form submitted on-line. This includes, but is not limited to, any unavailability in any computer network, server, telephone line or other connections, failed software or hardware transmissions, other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, or electronic, including lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, or misdirected Sweepstakes entry forms received on-line. All entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Farmers Group Inc., its Affiliates, as well as their respective directors, officers, agents, employees, attorneys in fact and shareholders from and against any and all claims, debts, liabilities, demands, obligations, costs, expenses, losses, actions, causes of action, judgment for damages, alleged claims or litigation arising out of, resulting from or in connection with the acceptance of the Prize or participation in the Sweepstakes including, but not limited to, loss of income, personal injury, damage to any property or to the Prize, whether such damage is direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise. Neither Farmers or any of its Affiliates will be responsible or liable if for any reason beyond their reasonable control the Prize is not provided by Long Beach BMW. Neither Farmers or any of its Affiliates will be liable to any person for any loss or damage sustained or incurred if, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is suspended, varied or terminated at any time, with or without prior warning or publicity. Neither Farmers or any of its Affiliates will be liable to any person for any loss or damage sustained or incurred arising from late, lost or misdirected Sweepstakes entry forms. Neither Farmers or any of its Affiliates will be liable to any person for any loss or damage sustained or incurred arising from any change to the value of the Prize occurring between the date the Sweepstakes begins and the date the Prize is claimed.
